Upwardly mobile

Yesterday was my last day at the salt mine until 2007.

I'm at home, groovin' out to Professor Longhair, watching the Pink imbroglio unfold on the telly, and gobbing my way through the Lions Christmas cake that was my annual bonus.

Still, I no complain. Since Christmas last year, I've worked my way up from slave to peasant. Who knows, if I play my cards right, by the end of next year I could be a serf.
